I Feel You Lyrics

I feel you. Your sun it shines, a captivating invitation into an ecstatic and almost overwhelming experience of love. Depeche Mode’s “I Feel You” explores the intoxicating allure of a profound connection, portraying a journey through both heavenly realms – symbolized by Babylon and heaven's golden gates – and darker, transformative spaces like oblivion. The repeated declaration "This is the morning of our love, it’s just the dawning of our love" emphasizes the nascent, beautiful beginning of something powerful and potentially dangerous. It’s a yearning for complete union, where one’s soul finds wholeness (“And I am whole”) through another's presence – represented by their “rising sun” and angelic beauty. The song evokes intense emotions of joy, surrender, and ultimately, a desire to be transported to a place of ultimate devotion and eternal glory, suggesting a love that transcends earthly limitations and leads irrevocably home.
