Hungry Eyes Lyrics

I’ve been meaning to tell you, this feeling won’t subside – a desperate yearning fueled by an immediate and intense attraction. “Hungry Eyes” captures the raw, almost primal desire that washes over someone when they lock eyes with their soulmate. The artist, Eric Carmen, powerfully conveys the overwhelming magic and undeniable connection felt at first sight. He uses the repeated phrase “hungry eyes” to represent this consuming need, a visual manifestation of wanting to possess and cherish the object of his affection. It’s an expression of vulnerability and honesty; he wants her to understand the depth of his emotions, urging her to see that this love was always destined to be. Ultimately, it's a plea for recognition and reciprocation, driven by a passionate belief in a profound and immediate connection.
